Music
I am a semi-professional classical singer in the Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, and GTA area.
As a mezzo soprano, I usually sing several several times a year as an invited soloist.
Since my early 20s, I am fortunate enough to be a voice student of Laura Pudwell, of Toronto Consort. Ms. Pudwell frequently performs with Opera Atelier, Tafelmusik, and well as in Paris, Salzburg, Vienna, and London.
Over the years I have also sung with several choirs, including Musikay (formerly the Oakville Ensemble) and Arcady. When I was doing graduate research at Queens University in Kingston, ON, I also sang with Mark Sirett’s Cantabile Choirs. In the past I have also sung for the Guelph Chamber Choir and was a soloist for the Laurentian University Choir and Chamber Choir, and the University of Guelph Chamber Choir.
In addition to singing, I also play Oboe and English Horn with the Hart House Orchestra.
